THIS ROCHE HARBOR CONDO IS NEW TO OUR PROGRAM. It provides a delightful view across the lagoon looking at Roche Harbor Resort. The view is nearly straight east overlooking the marina shore side of Roche Harbor where there are many amenities in a short walking distance including shops, restaurants and a good market. The lagoon in front of the condo can have many types of waterfowl, seals, otters, raccoons and of course deer. If you are lucky a fox sometimes passes through. Bring your favorite pair of binoculars.

This two bedroom, two story condo has a queen bedroom on the main floor and two queens in the upstairs loft, accessed by a spiral staircase. The staircase would be difficult to navigate if carrying luggage so please realize its nature could possibly make comfortable access by "mature" individuals challenging. Also be aware there is no bathroom on the loft level.

Enjoy the cozy eating nook for meals or sit at the counter in the kitchen so you can be part of the meal planning and preparation. Or eat out at the restaurants at Roche Harbor, all a few minutes walking time from this condo unit.

There are two tiled bathrooms: one with combo tub/shower and one with a walk-in shower. Both bathrooms are on the main floor.

Everything is here for a wonderful time at the most popular resort in the San Juan Islands.

Please note there are 22 steps to get to the entrance. There is also a steep narrow interior spiral staircase to the bedrooms (easiest to go down backwards).

Please note: residential internet speeds, bandwidth and reliability in the San Juan Islands currently lag behind the mainland. Guests who wish to use videoconferencing, streaming services, or multiple simultaneous internet connections should be aware that performance may not meet the levels they are accustomed to. Guests may need to alter their online work and entertainment plans due to service fluctuations or outages.

This is a great property, with all the amenities you need! Great Roche Harbor location with a spectacular view. The property is beautifully updated and was very comfortable for a long weekend. Would definitely recommend!

High Quality

I've stayed in many Vrbo's but I've never seen a property with such high quality. Everything from appliances, silverware, bed linens, pillows, towels, etc. is top quality. The location is also great (walking distance to Roche Harbor). We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't change anything. The only thing to note (which is not a problem) is the stairs to second floor that is not ideal for elderly people.

We had a great long weekend stay. The condo was very clean and definitely roomy enough for my mother and I. I can even see myself returning with my family of 4 in the future. It was well appointed with bedding and kitchen gadgets. It is close enough to Friday Harbor that it didn't feel like a big excursion to get to town, but far enough that it felt like an escape to the quiet coast. The view off the deck is really lovely. Parking was awesome and right next to the condo. There are a lot of stairs and I wouldn't recommend the loft for young children or seniors as the steps are steep and shallow, but it was fine for me (45 year old creaking body). For a longer stay you may be missing the convenience of a W/D in-suite, but apparently there is a laundry facility in the building. I would definitely recommend this place. Zero problems with instructions/communication.

Fantastic condo

Fantastic condo, perfectly laid out, beautifully decorated and stocked. We cook (especially now), and the kitchen had everything we could have needed. This trip was complicated by high Christmas winds, unplowed roads, and the lowest temperatures (and snow...) we remember in 40 years of living in and around Seattle. NW Escapes did their utmost to help with issues resulting from the weather, and we will happily go back again.
