Panorama Point is a gracious, large waterfront home with a 250 degree view up, down and across Eastsound, plus all the amenities that make for a great vacation rental home. It enjoys some of the best views on Orcas Island due to its location at water's edge. Beach access is easy with 450' of waterfront beauty.

The large living room, dining area and kitchen windows combine to bring these panoramic views indoors. With excellent waterfront access, this medium bank home allows one to walk on the rocks and pebble beaches at low tide. But the water-side deck is the place you will want to be. A new outdoor dining table and chairs is the perfect finish on this expansive deck.

Inside, in addition to the first floor great room, this home provides two downstairs bedrooms, each with outside direct deck access and comfortable queen size beds. These bedrooms share a downstairs hallway bathroom that also serves as the guest bathroom. The laundry room is also located on the first floor near the kitchen. Speaking of the kitchen, the owners have installed all new appliances in 2019 to maximize the amenities in this home.

Upstairs is the master bedroom with more views of Eastsound and a new king sized bed. There is also a small loft bed area open to the great room windows below, which provides a double bed and shares the upstairs hallway bathroom. There is also an entertainment room upstairs with an Internet connected Smart TV (so you stream from Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, etc.) .and comfortable lounging sofa, although with the views outside, it is unlikely anyone will be spending much time watching television.

Panorama Point provides excellent privacy from neighbors and such a gracious environment to enjoy wonderful Orcas Island.

PLEASE NOTE: This home is people friendly, and not pet friendly. As with many waterfront homes in the Islands, Panorama Point has medium bank waterfront and has drop offs between the house and the water. Parents of young children should closely supervise all children while in residence at this home.

Peaceful

"We stayed here with our two kids and loved it! The large windows make you feel like you’re on top of the water. The kids loved being so close to the wildlife, including the otters, eagles, and starfish. The house was very comfortable and well stocked. It was a quick drive to town where there are plenty of places to eat, shop, and a nice grocery store. Would love to stay again in the future.

"Absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous house! We stayed with a group of 8 adults and it worked out great. Each couple had their own room plus the loft was perfect. The pictures hardly do it justice. Sitting in the window filled living room with the fire going and watching the clouds roll by was just about as cozy as it gets. The private beach was beautiful too. Plus the house was very clean and had everything we needed to cook a big dinner. Highly recommend!

Cozy and Clean

The location is secluded and has a spectacular view of the water. It is well equipped, very clean, and quiet. Plenty of space for sleeping and two full bathrooms. The only thing needed is more comfortable living room furniture. Because it was April, we spent most of our time indoors playing games and enjoying each others company. Despite that, We had a great time., and wished we had another day to enjoy it.

My family and I had a great time at this house. It was extremely clean, very comfortable, and the views are just jaw dropping. We lucked out weather wise during our stay, so were able to enjoy the sun in the PNW in December. I can only imagine that this house in the summer is a stunner. From the deck we watched birds, including bald eagles, seals, and even a sea otter!! It was just magical.

Perfect weekend away

I just LOVED our time here at this beautiful property! Aside from the kitchen being a bit tight (nowhere to store all the non refrigerated food), it was the most perfect stay! The views are SO amazing, I wish we could have stayed at least one more night to enjoy just a little bit more. we also loved that it was fully equipped so we were never in need of anything. I will definitely reserve this place again!

Great views, but not a top-tier property

Pros: This home has incredible views of the sound.
Cons: general maintenance needs a lot of improvement. The exterior decking needs painting and some repair, there is some trash accumulated underneath the deck. Fireplace flue has significant buildup and needs a good cleaning. Kitchen has very limited space in which to work but, compared to other properties on the island, the kitchen supplies are limited, the dining space is tiny and cant really handle more than 3 people at a time.

Orcas Getaway

We had an absolutely amazing time at Panorama Point! The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well appointed...but the real draw here is the location. The house is within easy driving to everything on the island and the view is S-P-E-C-T-A-C-U-L-A-R! Every morning was spent drinking coffee and watching the sunrise and every afternoon included a cocktail and conversation on the deck...we would love to stay here again. The only complaint I have is with the management company who never responded to my phone call regarding a minor issue we had while on the island.

Panorama Point Review

We loved our time at Panorama Point. The views are gorgeous and the house overall was very comfortable. The kitchen isn't huge and the piano is too big for the size of the living room, otherwise it's really a special place. Not too far from East Sound village, and, while there are planes flying overhead, it's better than other houses closer to the airport.

Great vacation spot!

Our group loved our stay here in this house. The location is great. The site is peaceful and right on the water. The only complaint is that there is not a great trail down to the beach so you have to be sure-footed. Also, the master bedroom has these beautiful floor to ceiling windows, but the sun shines through them directly onto the bed early in the morning and there is no curtains or blinds to close. Other than that the house was great. Well stocked and clean. Beds were comfortable.

Nice Location / POOR Maintenance

We arrived late after dark to the home. While the place was recently cleaned ..all smoke detectors were going off when we arrived and the place reworked of something - possibly a dead animal in the walls. Wow could not use the bottom floor bedrooms the first night we were there. We left windows open, bought candles and spray to fix. This should have been corrected by cleaners/maintenance before we arrived. would not recommend.

We apologize to the guest for the poor condition of the property with smoke detectors going off. The problem was a low battery where if one goes off, they all go off. We sent a maintenance person to the house and replaced the low battery. New smoke detectors are being installed in this home with 10 year batteries so this does not occur again. We believe the odor the guest smelled must have been an animal that got into the crawl space of this home. We have hired a local pest service to eliminate this issue. Neither of the issues this guest experienced should be a problem going forward. Again, we are very sorry. General Manager

Breathtaking view, wonderful property but could be even better…

The view was simply spectacular & the home was very nice ... but there are some improvements that would make things better ... Couches in the great room were very uncomfortable and removing the baby grand piano would make more room for comfy chairs and/or couches facing the water as well as some facing the fireplace ... Surprised by the lack of decor in the master bedroom ... Odd smell in downstairs bathroom ... Needs more outdoor deck furniture ... Surpised by scuffs/scratches on hardwood floor near table ... Speak wires hanging down from loft ... Chandeliers dont fit motif and light bulbs burned out ... Balancing rocks ALL around property felt kind of creepy ... Unable to find iron & ironing board ... Reading binder key to enjoyable stay - how to work speaker system & confusing lighting ... Problem with window in master bedroom - not working properly and was open at the top when we arrived but I was able to get closed and locked. ... Easier way to get down to water would be terrific!

Incredible home!

Everything about our stay was fantastic. The home is really beautiful. It feels very cozy, with book-lined shelves and beautiful rugs. The kitchen is nicely stocked, with nice pots and pans and knives, even an espresso maker which was on offer if we wanted to use. The house is very "driving-close" to town with restaurants, and everything else on the island that we wanted to get to was only about 25 minutes away (Mt Constitution is probably farther, but we didn't get to that). The TV room was cozy for family nights in. And the beds were incredibly comfortable in all of the rooms (our young son said he didn't want to go home because he'd have to leave his bed here). Overall we had a great time and would recommend it to anyone coming to stay on Orcas.

Amazing!

This rental could not have been better. We loved how secluded it was, yet so close to everything. Deer come right up to the house, which thrilled my kids. House has everything you need for a stay and a stop at the Island Market had us ready to cook. Gorgeous home! We will absolutely rent again.
