The wonderful two-bedroom/two-bath home is set in a beautiful green field with commanding views of Rosario Strait and Lummi Island in the distance. It is situated in the charming cottage community of Sea Acres on the quiet east side of Orcas Island. This small island community has been a vacation destination for years, with so many folks coming back year after year. There is something extraordinary about this community and the folks that make up its residents year-round.

The house itself is a two-story entrance on the upper floor where you will find a good-sized living room, dining room, and kitchen area combined across its entire water view side. This area also opens onto a view deck with a new propane BBQ outside chairs and a table. This is the perfect warm summer vantage point to watch the sunset on Lummi and Cypress Islands across Rosario Strait. The living room has a fireplace and a new Smart HDTV for your pleasure, including satellite television.

The upper floor houses two beautifully decorated queen bedrooms, each with a plush mattress and hotel-quality linens. These bedrooms share a well-appointed bathroom with a combination tub/shower and luxurious towels, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay for all guests.

Downstairs, a spacious family/game room awaits, complete with a game table, comfortable seating, and another large screen television for watching satellite HD TV. Adjacent to this is a queen bed equipped sleeping area with a water view, and a shared hallway bathroom with a combination tub/shower enclosure, providing ample space and entertainment options for all guests.

Sea Acres enjoys one of the best small pebble beaches on Orcas Island. Taking coffee to the beach each morning will be a popular way to enjoy this wonderful home and location just two miles from Doe Bay Resort.

Please note: residential internet speeds, bandwidth and reliability in the San Juan Islands currently need to catch up to the mainland. Guests who wish to use videoconferencing, streaming services, or multiple simultaneous internet connections should be aware that performance may need to meet the levels they are accustomed to. Excellant vacation spot for whole family!

Favorite vacay home for whole family! We have stayed here 4-5X always excellant. Great views, great sand beach for kayaking from, watching river otters & collecting colorful beach glass. We grocery shop in Anacortes before catching the ferry, leave our kayaks on the beach @ house, love cooking meals on the patio & eating fresh crab & oysters from Bucks Bay. Bakery in Eastsound is to die for! Recent Upgrade to beds/bedding is wonderful! Love the remoteness of the house & had excellant service/communication from Northwest Escapes. Thank youour family of 6 will absolutely be back to Sea Acres & thus beautiful home.

A Splendid Family Tradition

We have rented this 4-bedroom Sea Acres house on many occasions, and it continues to never disappoint. It also includes some wonderful improvements, particularly in the downstairs bedroom with the queen bed and living room furniture. The house easily accommodated 5 adults and our 9 year-old grand-daughter. The Northwest Island Escape staff were incredibly professional, personable, and responsive. The rental process from initial inquiry to our departure was seamless. The views of the Rosario Straits from the house are breathtaking, and the private beach for launching our kayaks is wonderful. Easy access by car to Olga's and Eastsound. We will be back! Thank you!

Great view!

Great home with plenty of space. The view was amazing & the home was super cozy. A few things to note - we had a large group so we ran out of toilet paper rather quickly. No biggie, except the closest store, was 30 minutes & charged a boatload. If you have a large group, I would suggest bringing some so you don't run out. Management does leave a small spice variety jar but if you have some specialty needs, there are only the very basic items. Again, planning ahead is where it's at. Loved the home & will definitely be returning.

Beautiful Home and View

We loved our 4 night stay there! Cooked a lot and had friends from Shaw Island over for lunch on the upper deck. We really enjoyed all the maps on the walls. Few things to needs a new fridge with working ice maker, the upstairs toilet runs constantly, the coffee pot needs replacing because of mold in water chamber, was cold in AM but furnace pilot wasn't turned yet. Overall a 5.... Beautiful and fun place. Groceries are about 35 minutes away in Eastsound and ferry landing is 45 minutes away.

Relaxing Orcas Island getaway

We had a wonderful experience renting the home on Orcas Island in the Sea Acres community. The home was as advertised and in great shape. Great views and close to Moran State Park.
