This delightful, cozy home has everything necessary for a wonderful Orcas Island vacation, all in a charming old-island community. It provides three comfortable bedrooms, the master with a king bed and the second and third bedrooms each with queen beds. Each bedroom has large closets for those longer stays and the master has an excellent ensuite bathroom with combination tub and shower. There is also a queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room. This home shows its excellent care by the owners who have owned it for some time. This is their pride and joy for their own vacations and now they are willing to share it with you.

The kitchen has everything necessary for any level of cooking you may choose to create. A six person dining table enjoys an excellent view across the outside deck to the waters of Rosario Strait. Outside dining is also possible during the summer season with seating for four. The brand new Weber three-burner propane BBQ makes outdoor cooking a real pleasure. The deck has excellent seclusion from neighboring homes and is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the wonderful view.

"Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view from the living room & back deck was gorgeous and a welcome sight every morning. A pair of bald eagles often sat in the trees nearby. It's a 5 minute walk to a rocky beach that was excellent for tidepooling at low tide. Our only hiccup was that we found it difficult to unlock the front door on arrival. After about 15 min we were ready to give up & call for help, and then we finally got the lock unstuck. Hopefully this minor issue will be addressed to avoid any future headaches. Overall we had a wonderful time & found everything we needed. We would absolutely stay again.

"This is a gorgeous location and cabin. Beautiful views and access to a small beach where we watched a river otter. The location is a bit remote and about at the end of the road which we loved. Just know most of civilization (a store/gas) is a 20-30 minute drive. Although there isn’t a lot of civilization on this island. So peaceful and relaxing. We didn’t want to leave.

"a beautiful place to stay! We enjoyed a family vacation, and were very impressed with the home. The view is incredible! There are tons of dishes and pots and pans. Not many pantry items (limited spices etc) and the nearest store is about a thirty minute drive, so you will want to come prepared with everything you need for cooking! Some older reviews commented on older carpet and flooring, but the floors have recently been updated, and look great! Pay attention to the check in and check out time. It can be tricky to time it with the ferry, and you don't want to get caught with a bunch of groceries before the house is ready for check in! Overall a great place to stay.

Cozy stay on Orcas!

The Sea Acres lodge was a great and cozy stay, accurately matched the description and pictures. Nice touches and communicative management. We didnt have any troubles with our stay. Furnishings were a bit dated, but everything was functional and it added to the cabin vibe we enjoyed! Nice view and access to a small beach. Very quiet neighborhood and easy to rest.

Great Value

We had a wonderful time! Great views, location, and accommodations. The back deck is great for drinking coffee in the morning and looking out at the water. There are a lot of blankets and soft, fluffy towels that make the house feel cozy. Plus, there are a lot of movies to choose from.

Very relaxing and clean

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was spacious. The kitchen and grill well equipped. We slept very well and really enjoyed a short walk down the hill to the beach. Eating out on the deck while deer walked by was incredible! The bathroom fans were extremely loud and one banged in the wind when it was off. I filled out a form the management provided for issues. Not sure if those have been fixed.

Would stay again

Unfortunately we were here during the smoke from fires so we couldn't see the view. It was a bit out of the way, requiring more drivers for our short time there, but could be perfect if you wanted to lay low. We couldn't figure out how to work the master bath shower, called the management company, ended up resorting to YouTube...2 educated adults and a teenager couldn't figure it out. Management company never returned our call. Lots of dishes. Loved the spice caddy and the toiletries!

August vacation

We had a very nice vacation in August on Orcas Island. The house was very comfortable, especially the beds. We were disappointed in the kitchen as there were very limited cooking tools. LOTS of pots and pans, but would have appreciated more mixing bowls and serving bowls. Coffee pot was broken. Dining table was difficult to maneuver around with a family with small children. Heavy chairs. House decor could be updated very easily and inexpensively. It was very outdated. It really would have been nice to vacation in a cute house but this was a little horrid.

Beautiful location, house needs some work

This property is in a beautiful, remote area of Orcas Island. It's a spacious house with plenty of space for gathering. The neighborhood is quiet which we really liked. Deer walk on the property and the view is magnificent. There is a fire pit outside that we enjoyed every night of our stay. The interior definitely needs some upgrades. I could live with everything except the odor in the house. There is a really strong odor in the great room/kitchen/dining area that's pretty bad. I think it's the carpet that needs to be replaced. The property management company was very helpful and responsive when we had a small issue. We had a great experience but the owners really need to deal with the smell!

Surrounded by beauty

Wonderful location away from tourist towns. A cabin feel surrounded by wildlife and huge trees with a view of the water. Quick walk to a small public beach. Home is outdated and not fancy, but it was comfortable, quiet, and clean. We may stay here again.

A great location!

We enjoyed our stay at the Hall cabin. The location is unbeatable, with privacy and a gorgeous view off the deck. The neighbors told us that the area is a prime spot for salmon fishing and whale watching, and the cove was clearly popular among fisherman. The dock that was pictured in the listing is not open to the renters who stay in this cabin, but the beach is lovely and we were able to launch the kayak we brought with us from there and paddle the cove. The interior decor is fairly dated, and the carpet has a faint dog smell when you first open it up, but the weather was nice and we were able to keep windows open so it was not overwhelming. The housekeeping staff clearly did a great job, we had everything we needed and it was spotlessly clean. The kitchen is well stocked, and there are tons of games and some puzzles, extra blankets and pillows galore. Remember to bring your own beach towels and firewood, as these are not provided and you will want them! We were lucky to be there when no burn ban was in place, and enjoyed gathering around the fire pit under millions of stars. Its a great place for a family vacation, strongly recommended.

Great view

Great view, very well cared for home, very clean, community beach, comfortable beds, very quiet neighborhood, very well equipped kitchen, location perfect fire access to many activities. The only issue is that the carpet is dated.
