Blake's Point Estate is one of the most spectacular locations on Orcas Island, or within the San Juan Islands, for that matter. Extensive private waterfront and three beaches for your use depending on the time of day and sun exposure. Beautiful, naturally landscaped grounds and a graciously large 3 bedroom home each with ensuite bathrooms make this property your perfect vacation dream destination. The bedrooms are all large and include either window seats or comfortable chairs for your lounging pleasure.

Downstairs you will find a huge great room with large lounging sofas, chairs and even a gaming table for cards and other activities. To one side is the dining room with plenty of seating, and an adjacent kitchen bar counter for dining and communicating with the chef. Speaking of the kitchen it is fitted with almost every cooking feature you can imagine. Plenty of everything.

On the west side of the great room is your door access to the large master bedroom with new King bed and luxury "Heavenly Bed" mattresses as found in one of the high end hotel chains across the country. Luxury linens and bath towels round out this wonderful bedroom, along with a large double vanity bathroom with separate soaking tub and walk-in shower.

Nearby is a den with a queen bed and luxury mattress, plus an ensuite bathroom with clawfoot tub. This room doubles as a working den with its desk area included. The final downstairs amenity is a large, complete laundry room for your use while in residence. Almost forgot the large smart HDTV and entertainment center in the living area.

Upstairs you will find two more Heavenly queen bed rooms with window seats and gracious ensuite bathrooms attached, each with combination tub/shower enclosures. More luxury linens and towels abound.

This wonderful home aside, the real truly extraordinary exterior amenities are what will make your vacation memorable. On the waterside of the main house you will find a huge deck with lounging and outside dining ability. You will enjoy a clear view of the surging water that flows through the nearby passage between Blake's Point on Orcas and Waldron Island. You can actually hear the water running past the Point. Also on the point is a large viewing deck, perfect for watching the sunset each evening.

Life on Orcas Island just doesn't get any better. Book soon as we are already seeing this home book up. Weekly only during the high season with shorter bookings available after Labor Day and before June 15th.

Please note: residential internet speeds, bandwidth and reliability in the San Juan Islands currently lag behind the mainland. Guests who wish to use videoconferencing, streaming services, or multiple simultaneous internet connections should be aware that performance may not meet the levels they are accustomed to. Guests may need to alter their online work and entertainment plans due to service fluctuations or outages. Please note this home has 7 steps to the entrance.

A lovely place in a beautiful island setting

"294 Blake's Point Estate is a wonderful way to enjoy the San Juan islands. It's a great location on the North shore with long views of the Canadian mountains and Vancouver city lights across the Presidential Channel with large passenger and cargo ships passing, full northwest, north and east dark skies revealing an ocean of stars at night, a front yard that ends at the shoreline with both open and secluded beach areas accessible by stairs, clams and mussels to harvest, with a large accessible deck over-looking incredibly clear tide pools full of marine life drama, eagles on the upper branches of shoreline front yard pines scouting the waters for their next meal while being dive-bombed by crows trying to chase them away from nests, attentive but unperturbed deer grazing in the backyard in the early hours, and much more. The property lends itself to rising with the Sun, as the local birdlife and diversity of nature is on full display then. The estate has four bedrooms, each with own bathroom and showers, allowing families or groups of friends to stay together. It's a lovely place to know about.

I can't state enough how pleasant our stay was due to the openness of the cabin and the surrounding area. Our family loved the rooms with a bathroom for each available and the scenery even more. You never have to leave the house because you are surrounded by the water's edge and the beauty of the Pacific. This place is a gem book ASAP. Also, a special thank you to the reservations and housekeeping crew Kyle who managed to return a forgotten pair of diamond earrings left in a drawer on the property. The extra steps in securing and returning our lost item were extraordinary and appreciated.

The PERFECT place, an absolute dream

Not a single complaint, this place is stunning and perfect in every way! We visited from Boise, Idaho and every moment at this house was pure relaxation, magic, so enjoyable. You cant beat the tucked away location, the astounding views of the water, the amazing deck, the private beaches. Highly recommend, would love to come back someday.

Gorgeous, tucked away stay

We spent a long weekend here with our friends and kids. The view is breathtaking, lots of outdoor areas to explore (private beaches, an overlook), and a spacious house. It was well-equipped and the rooms were comfortable. We'd love to come back again.

Thanksgiving at Blakes Point

Our family had a wonderful time enjoying this property at Thanksgiving. We loved the view, loved the house and loved the island. Took a hike around Cascade Lake, even went to the lookout on Mt. Constitution but didnt have a view because of the fog, but still enjoyed the drive. East Sound is a wonderful little town. The home was very cozy and plenty of space for the seven of us. The management company was very responsive to a couple of questions we had and very pleasant.

Great Property and Location

We had a wonderful stay in this house! Its a great, private location with terrific views and great amenities. The kitchen and butler pantry were especially spacious and equipped with all we could want. House was super clean and ready for guests. Outside eating and relaxing patios were especially inviting. Orcas Island Summer Rental

We have stayed at this house for many years and the location, view and privacy are unmatched. This and the 4 bedroom is why we keep coming back. Maintenance on the house has slipped with many small items broken and in poor repair. This includes windows that don't open properly, missing handles and window blinds not working. The house is stripped of the little things that made a stay more enjoyable. The kitchen knives are dangerous, skillets are ready for the trash and the only condiments are the small container of basic spices that the rental company provides. If you plan on cooking anything beyond grilling, come prepared. No first aid kit was visible and the binder full of useful information on the house and systems is gone. The app does not have and real information on the property.
