Just minutes from the Village of Eastsound, this west-facing high bank waterfront home enjoys sunsets year-round. Recently completed, Eagle Bluff Retreat offers a King bed master suite with ensuite bathroom providing a large stall shower and double vanity. The second bedroom also features a queen bed and has a nearby second bathroom with tub/shower combination for convenience. Additional bedroom provides a full bed all adding up to comfortable sleeping accommodation for 6 guests.

The outdoor covered porch with gas BBQ will provide a wonderful space to watch the bald eagles, and marine activity. any season of the year. The well-appointed kitchen will provide the chef with everything necessary to create great meals. This new home's open floor plan combines the living and dining areas, along with vaulted ceilings, to provide light and bright spaces for comfortable for everyone who will enjoy Eagle Bluff.

A real feature of this home is Crescent Beach, one of the Island’s largest public beaches which is just a short distance away. Located just two miles from Eastsound Village and only 5 miles from Moran State Park and Rosario Resort, this home provides a great location for enjoying everything Orcas Island has to offer.

Fantastic experience!

"Beautiful property and an enjoyable house. We loved the large kitchen for cooking, comfortable couches for movies and fantastic views. The high cliff has been fenced off for safety. We weren’t traveling with our kids for this trip, but being parents of small children, the fence is nice to see. It can be walked around if you try, so as always, it would still be important to keep eyes on very little kids in the yard. The bedding and towels were luxurious which was an unexpected bonus more commonly found in upscale hotels rather than rental homes. We also loved the easy check out process which was much less demanding than many other rental homes that we’ve stayed in. The only thing to note is the entry/laundry does not have a door to close it off from the main kitchen/living so the laundry machines and the HVAC system were noticeably loud when in use, but it did not hinder our stay or enjoyment. We would absolutely stay here again, and the proximity to town is outstanding.

Beautiful view

"Beautiful view and a nice peaceful property. We saw deer on the property and had a bald eagle fly over while we played lawn games on the wide grassy lawn. As others have mentioned (and the listing is clear about) there's no beach access and there is a steep cliff right past the lawn so it's not the most kid-friendly spot but as long as you keep an eye on everyone it's very nice. We appreciated the included high chair for the little one along with dishwashing tabs, laundry detergent, and a decent mix of kitchen tools. We had no problems with the internet but also weren't taxing it much. Very clean and comfortable. The owner lives next door and was very friendly and came by to show us where some extra lawn chairs were stored. A 5 minute drive from town.

Great Location, Beautiful Views

The house is situated on a high bluff above East Sound which makes for beautiful views of the sound and sunset over the water. Sitting on the grass watching the water with a beer and good company was the highlight of the trip. The house itself is very clean, in brand new condition, and well furnished. The open kitchen, dining, and living area made it easy to stay together. And it was a very short drive into the town of Eastsound and to Moran State Park (which was awesome!).My only negative was the poor internet connection which is clearly noted in the home description above. I assume this is simply the price of a relatively remote island location. Also heed the caution with respect to the cliffs which are high and sheer - not safe for unsupervised small children.

Beautiful view

Nice roomy property. Great location with views of the water yet not far from town. Very comfy. It was nice having toiletries, dish soap, fresh sponge, cookware, coffee. Would suggest a few more coffee mugs. Look forward to a return.

Relaxing Escape from the Covid Storm

Very clean, beautiful views, cozy and restful home. I would suggest a master bath ADA upgrade with grab bars in shower and toilet area and tall toilet. Also, a set of non-stick cookware in the kitchen would be very helpful. Overall, we were very satisfied and hope to visit again soon.

Lovely property, close to town with fantastic views

This is a lovely property with fantastic views across the water, ideal for a family vacation. We saw seals in the water from the property. It's close to Eastsound (the main town on the island) but still feels relatively remote. You're close to a few other houses on the same road, but there's still a good sense of space. There's a wonderful fire pit which we enjoyed and the property is modern and well-equipped with gas grill, washer/dryer etc. Small children should definitely be cautious given the high bank on the property. Overall, this is a great way to experience all that Orcas has to offer and enjoy some relaxation. The property management company are amazing too, we had some issues with another booking and they went above and beyond to resolve it for us at short notice which we really appreciated.
