Amazing property with perfect location!

"Loved our stay at a Stone’s Throw. It was so close to the lake but we spent most of the time enjoying the pool and hot tub. Our kids spent hours swimming-the pool and yard was bigger than expected. Walkable to restaurants and coffee, but a quiet neighborhood. With the summer heat the rooms cooled unevenly but it wasn’t a deal breaker. Great kitchen and eating areas and the game room was perfect. I wish they provided us beach towels-was a pain to have to bring ours, launder them, and bring back home. We also had to buy more toilet paper during our stay which would have been nice to have more provided. Minor complaints, we would definitely be back.

Beautiful house

"House is very clean, equipped with everything you need for your stay. Walking distance to town center, lake and parks. Plenty room for a big family. The only negative part is that rooms don't have closets, only dressers, and AC works in some rooms pretty well but others not. The shower heads had little water coming out of it. But, overall, we enjoyed our stay, especially pool area.

Gorgeous peaceful getaway

"Everything was great! The property and views of the lake are just as beautiful in person, and the location is quiet and peaceful. It is also easy walking distance into town and to the waterfront park. The home itself was very clean, well maintained, and well equipped with lots of towels and all of the kitchen amenities needed to cook full meals. Even though our trip was scheduled for early May, the jacuzzi and (heated!) pool were ready for us. Although the back yard/pool area is fenced in, it was less private than expected so bathing suits/coverups were necessary at all times. The only issue we had was with internet connectivity on our first day. However, we called and they sent someone out to fix the issue within an hour. We were very impressed with the speed of the response. Overall, we had a lovely stay and wished we could stay longer!

"The home was fabulous, the online photos were accurate, the location was a super short walk to town, the pool was perfection and most everything was in stock as far as the kitchen. Only downsides were a few needed fixes that somehow hadn't been found yet...a broken glass light, a broken towel rack, two broken blinds, a broken fridge drawer and broken blender. (Fortunately there was a second one...yay!) These issues didn't impede our stay at all and when I called, maintenance offered to come fix what they could; however, it wasn't necessary to be fixed for our stay. We just wanted it noted for the next person's stay and didn't want it to reflect badly on us as incoming renters.. It's a beautiful home (and someone has a great eye for design!)and we loved every minute of our stay.

A Wonderful Get-Away Property

"We stayed for four days and nights at A Stone’s Throw: Poolside Retreat in Chelan, Washington and we enjoyed every minute of it! The location of the house was wonderful – within easy walking distance of downtown Chelan, fishing docks, the river walk, and for the more hardy walkers, the waterslide park. The house itself was perfect – clean, very well-stocked, light, soothing décor. We hated to leave. The pool was an added bonus that we truly enjoyed. There were six in our party and we had plenty of room. All in all, a very memorable get-away in a house we hope to return to again!

Best Weekend Ever

"It was the cutest house! So cozy, comfortable, and felt like home- yet was so spacious for all us girls to have time to ourselves. The BEST location so we could walk to town if we wanted! We will 100% book again, and can’t wait until next year when we can do another snowy weekend girls trip. The rental company was beyond helpful with any questions & even had the fire going for us when we arrived! Our only complaint was the light out front was out- so that wasn’t fun coming home to a dark house.

A Stone’s Throw

"Besides the smoke from all the fires, we had a great time at a Stone's Throw. Great to have a private pool! There was plenty of room for 3 families, kids loved the basement set up, very nice and comfy! Loved the kitchen, family room, large dinning table for all to sit! If you cook with special pans, I suggest bringing them. We ended up purchasing a griddle to be able to cook pancakes. The fry pan at the house was just not cutting it. Could have been the cook :) Close enough to walk to town, which we did most evenings for ice cream. Very close to Slide Waters. Just a nice location.

Great Place with Great Amenities with one exception

"It's hard to say anything but good things regarding this property. Pool clean... House clean... Plenty of seating... Plenty of beds... Nice Appliances... Great Grill... Walking Distance... If I had one critique it would simply be please provide a non-stick set of cookware. The all stainless group is hard for those not familiar to cook in. A simple non-stick pan for frying eggs and breakfast would be greatly appreciated. We ended up buying a non-stick griddle to use on the grill to make our breakfast. Other than that great property.

Wow – from the location to the amenities!

"This house has everything you need to have a fun and relaxing vacation! The location could not be better! We walked everywhere and you can just roll down the hill to the lake! The house itself is beautiful! The pool was AMAZING, I think it may even be bigger than it looks in the pictures and the view is stunning! On top of that the house has everything you could ever need, including pool floaties and a fully stocked kitchen. I can't wait to come back to Chelan and stay here again!
